SPORTS ENGLAND - funded, with
contribution from CCP post of the Sports Development Officer has now been
filled and we should meet him at Chattenden August 13th.
|
|
Medway online - hopefully our
problems regarding refurbishment of the sports hall and the squash court
are at an end and we should see contractor starting work soon, so that the
October planned opening of the ICT Centre will go ahead.

The Squirrels Playgroup is now
registered by Social Services. All places for children 3 years of
age will be Government funded as from September. There will be a
small increase in charge to £2.50 per session for other children under
3. The playgroup also will extend to 3 days per week and the times
will be extended to 12.30 pm. If you need more information, please contact
the Centre. 01634 256397 
London & Quadrant Housing Trust together
with residents from Chattenden and Johnson Avenue in Gillingham, have
organised a Community Safety Day at Chattenden on Saturday 28th July.
Lets hope that the weather will be great, so that we all could enjoy the
day. Something to learn for everyone and fun guaranteed. 
Summer Holiday is here! CCP together
with Medway Council is
arranging activities for children during the holiday period. Some
activities will be held in the Centre and some at various other locations. Transport
will be provided. Leaflets will be distributed with list of what's
available. Look out for these. Hannah, the coordinator for the
summer, is available at the Centre for further information.
